Nishikori advances to Roland Garros second round

Japanese tennis player Kei Nishikori has advanced to the second round of Roland Garros on Monday after defeating the Italian Simone Bolelli 61, 75, 63.

Nishikori finished on Monday the game that started on Sunday and was interrupted by rain.

The Japanese will be measured for a spot in the third round against the Russian Andrey Kuznetsov who defeated Germany’s Benjamin Becker 62, 62, 64.
