Britain’s Queen Elizabeth II concludes on Friday her fifth state visit to Germany by visiting for the first time the site of Nazi concentration camp BergenBelsen, which was liberated by British soldiers 70 years ago.

In the memorial center in the former Nazi camp, where more than 70,000 people, including the Jewish teenager Anne Frank, died, the queen will lay wreath in memory of the victims. She will also meet with Holocaust survivors and some veterans of the British Army.

Before leaving for the state of Lower Saxony, home to BergenBelsen, Queen Elizabeth and her husband, Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, will say goodbye to the people of Berlin from the Brandenburg Gate.
