Another three-day weekend is approaching, here are some events going on in San Diego during Memorial Day weekend.

5.25: Hotel Republic Rooftop BBQ

Topside Terrace Kitchen & Bar at Hotel Republic will have Shane McIntyre from Herb & Wood, Kenzie Allen from JRDN at Tower 23 and Amol Thanky from Patio Marketplace join Executive Chef JC Colón for an all-you-can-eat BBQ event. Sip on a Modern Times beer or a cocktail with Casamigos tequila while tasting some smoky barbecue.

5.25: Armin van Buuren at OMNIA

After lighting up the electric sky in Las Vegas the previous weekend, the Dutch DJ will being his beats to San Diego. Tickets are available online.

5.26: Four Level Pool Deck + Lounge

Take a splash and eat carnitas made by Curandero’s Executive Chef Brad Kraten. There will also be a piñata for those wanting to take a swing. The party starts at 1 p.m.

5.26: Hiatus Pool Lounge

The pool in Hotel La Jolla will open to the public starting Memorial Day weekend, offering a full lunch menu from the kitchen of Cusp Dining & Drinks and happy hour from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday night will feature a complimentary movie night with wine and snacks for a more low-key weekend.

5.26: 10th annual Santee Street Fair & Craft Beer Festival

5.26: 10 year anniversary All White Cruise

5.26: Bar Crawl to Night Swim

5.28: Fort Rosecrans Memorial Day

Join war veterans organizations and patriotic groups for a day of tribute that spans a 100-year tradition at one of San Diego’s largest and most celebrated memorials dedicated to the nation’s fighting men and women. There is limited parking on site, but a shuttle will run from the Veterans Museum and Memorial Center in Balboa Park starting at 8 a.m.

5.28: Mt. Soledad Memorial Day Ceremony

Along with the traditional keynote speech and ceremony honoring United States veterans, this year, a plaque presentation will be given to honor Ulysses S. Grant, American Civil War General and 18th President of the United States.
