Third-round play at PGA Championship suspended due to rain

Inclement weather forced play to be suspended here Saturday afternoon at the PGA Championship and has not allowed any of the players at the top of the leaderboard to start their third rounds.

Some players with early Saturday morning tee times at the Baltusrol Golf Club were able to complete their rounds, with American Kevin Kisner and Ireland’s Padraig Harrington both shooting 5under 65 to put themselves into contention.

Kisner is 5under for the tournament, while Harrington is 4under.

Americans and coleaders Jimmy Walker and Robert Streb, both of whom are at 9under through two rounds, had been scheduled to tee off at 2:55 p.m. (1855 GMT).

Australian world No. 1 Jason Day and Argentina’s Emiliano Grillo, who are tied for third place at 7under, had a 2:45 p.m. tee time that needed to be changed due to the weather delay.
