Man who killed friend guilty of murder, jury says. Now, it will decide if he was insane

Jury deliberations began Tuesday for an Escondido man accused of murder after authorities say he dressed in white as a symbol of purity, beating his friend to death then posting references to the killing on Snapchat in April 2017. Salvador Sanchez, 20, has pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity.
