The Los Angeles Times Travel & Adventure Show February 9th and 10th Showcases The Most Unique Vacations On Earth

Los Angeles, CA and Milford, CT, January 7, 2008 – On February 9 and 10, 2008, thousands of travel experts from around the world, will converge at the Long Beach Convention Center to help consumers find their next incredible vacation.

The 13th annual Los Angeles Times Travel & Adventure Show will showcase the most sought-after domestic and international destinations; eco, adventure and family resorts and access to tour operators from across the U.S. and around the planet!

Attendees will have the chance to gather insight to help plan their ultimate getaway by receiving experiential and cultural recommendations via one-on-one chats with destination experts. The 2008 Show will include the Los Angeles Times Stage featuring keynotes seminars from such luminaries as the Amazing Race’s host, Phil Keoghan, speaking of his new book No Opportunity Wasted: Creating a Life List, the highly respected Europe Through The Back Door” and PBS host Rick Steves and Frommer Travel Guide’s Pauline and Arthur Frommer. In addition, the National Geographic Adventure Theatre will feature live seminars from world renowned explorers and the popular Global Beat Stage will offer international music and dance performances.

The Los Angeles Times Travel & Adventure Show will also bring adventure directly to attendees by offering scuba diving lessons, a rock climbing wall and more. The show is open to the public 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and presented by the Greek National Tourism Organization and the Automobile Club of Southern California. Additional sponsors are South African Tourism, Guam Visitor’s Bureau and Israel Ministry of Tourism.
