Brand X's "L.A. in Short" video contest submissions are being hosted online by Ning (www.iambrandx.ning.com), the infinitely customizable social networking platform, to enhance the collaborative and dynamic nature of the project.
"Brand X is as much about modern media the intersection of art and technology as it is about the stories that are produced via those mediums. So the 'L.A. in Short' video contest is a perfect manifestation of our vision in so many ways," said Deborah Vankin, editor of Brand X. "We're excited about fostering the talent of anyone with a camera and an inspiration and giving them the opportunity to be seen online and at the LA Film Festival."
Check out the competition. Video entries, contest details and official rules are posted at www.iambrandx.ning.com, and the contest deadline has just been extended to Friday, June 12.
