The staff of the Los Angeles Times Food section has selected their
favorite holiday cookies from the last decade. They come from a wide
range of sources – from world-famous pastry chefs to home cooks. There
are recipes for chocolate cookies and gingerbread and cookies made with
nuts and candied fruit. Some recipes are so simple they can be made by
young children while others will be entertaining projects for experienced
home bakers.
