If the mini-plays you're saluting during Saturday's "Boxer Shorts 2" come up, uh, short, in the technical-props department, that's only because the actors must stage all set decorations and drama from each show using a pile of stackable boxes. That's it. Eight actors pull double-duty in six playlets, re-creating quiet rooms, a deli, a bar, a bowling alley, a freeway and a train station, respectively. The shorts, written by Palm Beach PlayMakers Todd Caster and Lisa Bankert (who also act), will be staged in three shows at 2 and 7 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday at Delray Beach Playhouse (950 Lake Shore Drive). $10, includes post-show talk-backs with writers, directors and cast. 561-272-1281 or DelrayBeachPlayhouse.com.
