At 18 years old, the prolific and virtuoso pianist Conrad Tao is young enough to still be a prodigious composer and not yet old enough to be burdened by the pressures of fame. Case in point: The teen was on Forbes Magazine's 2011 list of the "Top 30 Under 30" who would someday change the world, which is saying something for a musician who, at age 18 months, was already knocking out children's songs on a baby grand. With "The Five Beethovens" Monday night at the Broward Center, Tao takes on five consecutive Ludwig concertos to cap off the Symphony of the Americas' triumphant 25th season. He will play under the baton of maestro James Brooks-Bruzzese. $25-$75. 954-462-0222 or BrowardCenter.org.
