Legend has it that immortal music producer Bruce Dickinson (not the Iron Maiden singer) once imparted a few choice words of encouragement to Blue Oyster Cult as they recorded their seminal hit, "Don't Fear the Reaper": "I have got to tell you, fellas, you have got what appears to be a dynamite sound," he said, adding that the "prescription" for his "fever" demanded the liberal use of "more cowbell." Blue Oyster Cult may indeed heed this advice as the long-intact lineup of Donald Roeser, Eric Bloom, Jules Radino, Richie Castellano and Kasim Sulton perform their cowbell-abundant signature track, along with "Burnin' for You" and "Godzilla," at 8 p.m. Friday at Seminole Casino Coconut Creek. $15, $25 if you want more cowbell. 954-977-6700 or SeminoleCoconutCreekCasino.com.
