You may deny it, but the Britpop quintet One Direction may well be ushering in another renaissance of - oh, yes - boy bands, and with them a stadium filled with high-pitched, shrieking admirers of a certain age. The "Little Things" singers, so popular now that on Friday they launched their own fragrance line called One Moment and promptly crashed Twitter in the process, are the first wave in a battalion of boy bands descending on South Florida this summer (others: New Kids on the Block, Backstreet Boys, 98 Degrees). Embrace the change. One Direction will perform 7:30 p.m. Thursday. $29.50-$89.50. 800-745-3000 or TheBBTCenter.com and Ticketmaster.com.
