Seminole Hard Rock's Rock the Race on Saturday

The sixth annual "Rock the Race: A Kentucky Derby Bash" is set for 4 p.m. at Murphy’s Law Irish Pub at Seminole Hard Rock & Casino.

The event benefit the programs and services of the Ann Storck Center.

The event will feature live musical entertainment, mint juleps, hors d’oeuvres, a fabulous silent auction, “best dressed” contests, “best hat” contests and the race on flat-screen TV.

Because it's the Ann Storck Center, I'll give them the quote, from the press release:

“Rock the Race is an incredibly festive event, and a vital fundraising component to our agency. The funds raised directly impact the children and adults in our Adult Day Training Program, Early Intervention Preschool, Intermediate Care Facilities and the Therapeutic Art & Music Programs. The Ann Storck Center has helped families for over 30 years and because of the continued support from our Community, we can remain a reliable resource to families who need us most,” said Charlotte Mather-Taylor, Chief Executive Officer, Ann Storck Center.

Rock The Race is co-chaired by Roz Perlmutter from Pearl Fine Art Supplies, Alyssa Lovitt  from Timpano Italian Chophouse, Sarah Moss from the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, and Susan Renneisen from the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.

Tickets are $50 per person or $85 per couple. Go to
