Luke Bryan, a big winner Sunday at the American Music Awards, will headline the 28th annual 99.9 Kiss Country Chili Cookoff, WKIS-FM station officials announced Monday.

Tickets for the Jan. 27 show will go on sale Friday, Nov. 23.

Bryan, whose hits include "All My Friends Say" and "Drunk on You," was named Favorite Country Male Artist at the American Music Awards.

"He's just been on fire," says WKIS-FM program director Ken Boesen.

Ronnie Dunn, who has gone solo since splitting up with Kix Brooks, also will perform, as will Thompson Square ("Kiss Me or Not,") Kacey Musgraves ("Merry Go 'Round") and Florida Georgia Line.

Boesen says ticket sales will be limited to 22,500 for the show, several thousand fewer than this year's concert at C.B. Smith Park in Pembroke Pines.

"We think trimming that will make for a better experience for everybody," Boesen says.

Tickets cost $45 and will go on sale at 12:01 a.m. Friday at WKIS.com and at the Walmarts at 4700 S. Flamingo Road in Cooper City and 12555 W. Sunrise Blvd. in Sunrise (cash only). Grif's Western, 6211 45th St., Davie, will sell tickets beginning at 10 a.m. Friday. Tickets also will be available at all Pet Supermarket locations in South Florida.
