There's more to Father's Day than a good barbecue. How about spending some quality time with dad? There are lots of places you can go in South Florida that will please dad ... and the kids he brings along. Get the details!

1. Mango Festival
Take your dad to the 19th Annual Mango Festival, a three-day celebration of the sweet tropical fruit, as well as music and milticulturalism featuring live entertainment (gospel, r&b, rap/hip-hop), food and drink, arts and crafts, and a parade.

2. Blockbuster IMAX 3-D Theatre
Dads love movies, especially if it's filmed in the world's largest format and if it's about cars and racing. Take him to see NASCAR 3D: The IMAX Experience this weekend, where "24" star Kiefer Sutherland provides an insider's perspective of the nation's No. 1 spectator sport, with a brief look back at how it all began.

3. Florida Marlins baseball game
Treat dad to a baseball game on Father's Day to see the world champions take on the Texas Rangers at Pro Player Stadium in Miami.

4. Father's Day Festival
Enjoy the great outdoors with your old man at John D. MacArthur Beach State Park, where you can learn how to kayak, learn about snakes, make crafts gifts and indulge in a hot dog or hamburger from the barbecue.

5. Daylight Weekend Canoe Tour
Experience the beauty of Biscayne Bay with your dad at the Deering Estate in Miami, on the way to Chicken Key Island, a 7-acre bird rookery.

6. Ralphie May
Catch a few laughs with dad as comedian Ralphie May, a finalist in NBC's Last Comic Standing, spins some jokes at CityPlace in West Palm Beach.
