Founded in 1997, Miami Art Museum serves one of the most diverse and fast-growing regions of the country.
It is housed in a small exhibition hall space and offers visitors a variety of art works. The museum also promotes future artists and museum-goers by providing education programs for students in grades K through 12.
Thanks to years of research and planning, the museum has launched construction of a new 125,000-square-foot home in Museum Park in downtown Miami. Completion of the new MAM will open to the public in 2013.Copyright © 2015, Los Angeles Times
