Three men walked in a 7-Eleven in Jensen Beach on Monday morning to buy beer and pay for gas.

Only one of the men grabbed an 18 pack of Bud Light in cans and ran out, reports Will Greenlee in is Off the Beat blog for TCPalm.com.

The three men fled in a silver Dodge neon, according to a store employee that chased after them.

But they didn't get far.

About three miles away in Martin County, sheriff's deputies noticed three men changing a flat tire in a silver Dodge Neon, the same description of the car used in the hops heist.

One was Anthony Hernandez, 20, who admitted to the stealing the brewski so he could 'score some women.'

But he didn't know the whereabouts of the Bud Light.

And we'll never know if he scored the women.
