He spent the year either inactive or on the practice squad. Salary in 1994: $112,000 Now: Serving time in prison after pleading guilty in both New York state court and federal court to drug charges. He sold heroin for a drug ring operating between Newark and Syracuse, N.Y., according to court records. Prior to getting caught up in drugs, Caesar had worked for the City of Newark for eight years from 1999 to 2007. His first job with the city was as ¿a laborer¿ and he worked his way up to administrative analyst, according to municipal records. He is set to be released from federal prison in July 2013.
