Shot model against cutbacks The New York Metropolitan Transportation Authority's plan to remove token booths around the city got a thumbs-down yesterday from Monica Meadows, the actress-model who was shot on the subway July 1 and aided by a subway clerk. "Oh my gosh, that would be a bad idea," she said in a telephone interview. "If that (clerk) had not been there, it would have been difficult for me. We would have had to go out to 42nd Street."
