The brother of Darrell M. Jones, of Riviera Beach, called police to report that Jones had thrown gators into the pool and he was concerned about the safety of his nephews, reports The Palm Beach Post.

Jones was taken to a hospital for medical treatment where he continually threatened one of the officers and told the officer that "he better wear his bullet-proof vest because when gets out of jail he was going to put one in him," the affidavit says.

No word on the gators.
