An old real estate sign hangs outside the poorly maintained house at 1321 NE 14th St., in Fort Lauderdale, which is titled to HSBC Bank USA. Principal Realty is no longer involved in the home's sale. The agency said it last had the listing in 2009 for its client Litton Loan Servicing, which was sold in 2011 to Ocwen Financial Corp. "We get a lot of calls on assets we used to manage two and three years ago that still are abandoned," said Ray Orsini, Principal Realty manager for bank-owned properties. "It's a shame." He said the calls come from potential buyers or local officials "looking for who the owner of record is to file their liens or to at least notify them of pending code issues. But the problem is, the previous owner doesn't exist anymore."
