Three Things to consider as my three-week stay-cation ends:
|This might be a good time for the Miami Dolphins' defense to start showing up.|
Thing 1: So, South Florida, did I miss anything while I was away?
I mean other than the professional demise of
, the latest physical setback for
, a boatload of
Marlins losses and a couple episodes of Hard Knocks?
Didn't think so.
Thing 2: Did you also find it a bit disturbing that new Miami Dolphins defensive coordinator Kevin Coyle admitted Sunday "it's not really translating" when it comes to carrying practice effort and execution into these preseason games?
"I just don't see the same energy and passion that I know these guys have when I'm out on the practice field with them," Coyle said. "So it's been a little troubling that way. We've just got to get our minds right and go after it."
The sooner the better.
Thing 3: Good to see Showtime and the Marlins have opted to wrap "The Franchise" a week early rather than bleeping drag this bleeping thing through the end of the bleeping month.
