A pair of nesting Great Blue Herons perform a dance as one flies into the nest baring the gift of a stick. Looking on at the spectacle are two recently hatched chicks just visible below their parents feet. The birds are one of many nesting pairs at the Wakodahatchee wetlands off of Jog Road west, north of Lake Ida Road. The wetlands are man made and were created to further treat the effluent from a nearby waste water treatment plant.
