The Palm Beach State Attorney's Office accused Officer Ott of targeting Hispanic males between October 2010 and May 2011, going through their wallets for cash (between $35 and $400) under the guise of asking for identification. The last 'victims' were an FBI agent and an undercover deputy using counterfeit cash. Ott pleaded guilty Jan. 10, 2012 to three counts of committing a robbery and showing prejudice. He was sentenced to three years in prison.
