Miramar senior linebacker Jermaine Grace will announce his college choice next Tuesday after taking an official visit to Louisville this weekend, Miramar coach Damon Cogdell said Wednesday.
Cogdell said Grace's top three schools are Miami, Louisville and Tennessee and that "he's almost 100 percent" sure which he will sign with. Grace had expressed a desire earlier to wait until National Signing Day to announce his decision, as former teammate Tracy Howard did last year, but now intends to announce sooner.
Louisville has a chance to land Grace in part because he's familiar with Cardinals quarterback Teddy Bridgewater and linebacker Keith Brown. Grace, a 6-foot-1, 208-pound four-star recruit, was the Sun-Sentinel's Class 8A-7A-6A Defensive Player of the Year this past season after registering 115 tackles, four sacks and two interceptions.
