Elite baseball players

Players with Stealth Baseball out of Lantana take their practice very seriously. In a phenomenon that could be dubbed "Moneyball Jr," South Florida is at the center of a rapid, recent and disturbing rise in the professionalization of youth baseball, where the top 10-12 year old boys are recruited and flown around the country with their families by wealthy team owners who run youth baseball teams (ages 6-14) like mini-major league franchises -- with paid coaches, trainers, instructors, etc.
