Ovidio Cabrera, of Miami, was first spotted Saturday afternoon traveling at 124-mph in a 55-mph zone on a motorcycle in the Florida Keys, according to a news release from the Monroe County Sheriff's Office.
The troopers called Sheriff’s Office dispatchers to alert deputies to be on the lookout for the bald driver with no helmet, facial hair and extensive tattoos who was driving a 2009 green Kawasaki motorcycle -- with a woman passenger with a bright pink backpack on, the release sated.
He couldn't be too hard to miss.
The 27-year-old Miami man allegedly kept driving at excessive speeds from Key Largo to Big Pine Key while ignoring numerous deputies who tried to stop him along the way.
Cabrera finally pulled over on Big Pine Key when a deputy got behind him and flashed his lights and turned on the siren.
A check on the Cabrera’s driver's license showed his license had been indefinitely suspended. He had also been designated a habitual traffic offender by a judge.
His passenger told the deputy she had been frightened by his driving and had been trying to get him to stop and let her off the motorcycle, deputies said.
Cabrera was arrested. He was charged with fleeing and eluding police, reckless driving and driving with his license suspended.
And his motorcycle was seized.
