Parkland Golf & Country Club unveils 3 new model homes

Sun Sentinel

Parkland Golf & Country Club will open three new models on Friday.

The Saviero Mediterranean is priced from the low $500,000s, while the Bolano’s price tag starts in the mid-$600,000s. Treanna Tuscan is the most expensive, going for more than $1 million.

The sales center at 9425 Old Club Road will be open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Call (954) 757-7747 for more information.

Luxury builder Toll Brothers bought Parkland Golf & Country Club in late 2010 from WCI Communities Inc. for $53 million. The 850-home development still has about 300 sites left on which to build, said Jim McDade, a regional executive for Toll.

New home sales nationwide dipped in October, but low interest rates and a shortage of existing homes have helped increase demand in recent months. “We’re very optimistic,” McDade said. “Next year we expect to see a continuation of the improvement from 2012.”
