Angela Delaney, left, and Cheryl Miller from Coastal Eco-Group watch their marine research boat launch at Boat Club Park. The mural below them, "Ode to Old Boynton," is by artist Peter Agardy and depicts the history of Boynton's fishing community and how it relates to the conservation practices of today. Graffiti - the writing of names or drawing of pictures on public space - dates back to prehistoric cave paintings and pictographs when humans would use bones for tools and created paint from nature's pigments. Modern style graffiti is similar in concept, though is portrayed using different materials; like spray paint, stencils and markers and has become a popular medium for artists all over the world to showcase their work.
