The Lynx

After going under the 17th Street Bridge with cannons firing in salute, and 95-foot masts  the schooner Lynx arrived in Fort Lauderdale for two-weeks. The replica of an 1812 privateer, the 122-foot tall ship will be a main attraction in Saturday's Winterfest Boat Parade, and a historical reminder of the bicentennial of the War of 1812.
