Jordan Hancock, 8, of Lake Park, can't believe what he is seeing is a real Trigger Fish, although mounted, while taking part in the Palm Beach County Fishing Foundation's 25th annual Kid's Fishing Day. Hancock was listening to a presentation by volunteer Jessie Pinder, a marine biology student from Palm Beach Atlantic University. About 400 children from around Palm Beach County will attend the three day event at the Lake Park Harbor Marina at which the children are taught about the marine environment, conservation, fishing basics and are taken offshore for a few hours of deep sea fishing. More than 11,000 children have taken part in Kid's Fishing Day over the events 25 years.
