Jeff Fisher goes elsewhere

Todd Bowles went 2-1 after he replaced Tony Sparano in the waning weeks of the 2011 season. And while he was officially a candidate to get the job permanently, Dolphins owner Steve Ross had his sights set on a bigger fish -- former Titans coach Jeff Fisher. The Dolphins and the Rams were the two finalists in Fisher's selection process and despite a full-court press by Ross, Fisher opted to go to St. Louis. The Dolphins hired runner-up Joe Philbin.
