1960 Press Conference

Cuban leader Fidel Castro talks to reporters in New York September 19, 1960, while in the city to address the United Nations. The CIA offered the mob $150,000 to assassinate Fidel Castro in the early 1960s, but the Mafia insisted on taking the job for free, according to declassified document.
