You've got a problem with smart politics?
Ever heard of the modern verb, to be "swiftboated," a la John Kerry? Barack Obama is proving he's more sophisticated than prior candidates and won't stand for being slimed by false rumors. Rather than letting his opponents control the conversation, or let whisper campaigns manipulate the facts, his Web site is there to clear the air. Who could blame a man who has been falsely described as a Muslim, anti-Israel and a Louis Farrakhan-lover? It's called correcting the record, and it's important for an educated electorate. That's not "one-sided;" it's smart, and the political world could use more of that.
