After dousing her car with gas, Barnes entered the store, walked behind the counter and grabbed a cigarette lighter then went outside with the clerk following her, according to cops.
The clerk retrieved the lighter from Barnes, who allegedly kept saying that she "had to get out of here," the release stated.
Barnes then reportedly used another lighter -- this one from her car -- to set her car on fire. After yelling to a bystander that her "babies" were in the car, the bystander rescued the dogs and handed them over to Barnes, according to police.
