Songwriter Hank Cochran died July 15, 2010, at his Tennessee home after a battle with cancer. He wrote or co-wrote hundreds of songs that were recorded by top artists including Elvis Presley, George Strait and Willie Nelson. But it may be Patsy Cline's version of "I Fall to Pieces" and Eddy Arnold's take on "Make the World Go Away" that solidify his place in music history. Cochran was 74.
