Cosan/Shell ethanol deal

Brazilian sugar and biofuel company Cosan announced plans to merge its ethanol and fuel distribution units with Dutch Royal Shell on Monday, Feb. 1. The deal, worth up to $12 billion, will make the combined company Brazil's third largest fuel distributor.
