It seemed ike a good idea at the time Michael runs a sales promotion, promising their clients 10% off if they find the Golden Ticket. He even dresses up as Willy Wonka for effect. But when their biggest client gets all five golden tickets, its obvious things are going to get ugly. David is livid at Michael for the golden ticket idea, so Michael blames Dwight. Is Dwight's future doomed? No--when they meet with David, he congratulates Dwight, because Blue Cross decided to make Dunder Mifflin its only provider for all office supplies and paper; nnNaturally, Dwight accepts the credit. When Michael tells David that he was the one who had the original idea, David gets angry again. Its a wonder that David keeps Michael in the business. Maybe it's Michael's good looks and his Gene Wilder impression that held him in this time.
