Japanese workers pack up Bridgestone tires to be flown to the United States

Japanese workers close a shipping container holding Bridgestone tires to be flown from the New Tokyo International Airport in Narita, east of Tokyo, to the United States on Aug. 23 to help speed the replacement of the 6.5 million Firestone tires recalled in the United States. Japan's Bridgestone Corp. began shipment of a total of 450 thousand Dueler H/L683 and A/T693 tires to its American affiliate.
