Accusations of steroid use have dogged Alex Rodriguez since the performance enhancing drug scandals began to pop up in baseball earlier in the decade. Rodriguez had fervently denied the accusations until a published report in Sports Illustrated claimed that Rodriguez tested positive for using two different steroids in the 2003 season.
