Community workshop slated for Wednesday

As part of an effort to guide parks and recreation improvements countywide, the Burbank Parks and Recreation Department will host a community workshop from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday in room 104 of the Community Services Building, 150 N. Third St.

Workshop attendees will have an opportunity to provide input about priorities for Burbank’s parks department, which is participating in the Los Angeles Countywide Park and Recreation Needs Assessment.

A final report with findings for all communities participating in the assessment will be published in May and is expected to help guide decisions about improving and expanding — or increasing access to — parks throughout the county.
