Share

The third annual Burbank Beer Festival will be held on Saturday, when more than 85 varieties of craft beers from local microbreweries will be on tap.

Angel City Brewery, Karl Strauss Brewing Company, House Beer, Golden Road Brewing, the Dudes’ Brewing Company and Verdugo West Brewing Co. are just some of the breweries that will be in the downtown area from noon to 7 p.m.

Beer tastings will be held on San Fernando Boulevard, between Magnolia Boulevard and Palm Avenue and between Olive and Angeleno avenues.

There will also be tastings on Olive between Third Street and San Fernando, said Mary Hamzoian, the economic development manager for Burbank and who oversees the Downtown Burbank Partnership.

Like in previous years, there will be two tasting sessions, the first from noon to 3 p.m. and the last from 4 to 7 p.m. Tickets are $40 for the first session and $45 for the last session.
