Burbank police on Thursday arrested a 20-year-old Temecula man suspected of shooting a man outside an apartment complex near McCambridge Park earlier this week, police said.

Investigators believe the shooting stemmed from an altercation between the suspect, identified as Christian Taylor Young, and the victim a few days earlier, but police declined to elaborate.

A second victim, a 27-year-old man, was also shot at but not injured, said Burbank Police Sgt. Claudio Losacco. The three individuals know each other.

At around 8:20 p.m. Monday, police responded to reports of gunfire in the 1500 block of Scott Road, where they found the victim on a sidewalk with multiple wounds on his lower body.

The shooting occurred right outside an apartment complex down the street at 1600 N. San Fernando Blvd.

The victim was taken to a hospital but has since been released.

Young, who is being held in lieu of $1 million bail, is due in court next week.

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call Burbank Police Det. John Kaefer at (818) 238-3210.
