James Morrison Band

As part of the 11-week Sunset Jazz at Newport series, the James Morrison Band will perform at the Newport Beach Marriott Hotel & Spa, 900 Newport Center Drive. This will be the Sydney, Australia-based band’s only summer Southern California appearance. The doors open at 5 p.m., with the performance starting at 6. The jazz series runs until Sept. 14. Senior symposium

OneOC will host its second annual senior symposium, presenting attendees the opportunity to meet with community leaders, local nonprofits and seminars focusing on health and wellness, lifelong learning and aging with purpose.
