Diners can take advantage of special menus and prices at 61 participating restaurants during Dine Newport Beach Restaurant Week, which actually runs two weeks, from Monday through Jan. 31.

The 10th annual event will offer prix fixe specials with lunches priced from $10 to $25 and dinners from $20 to $50. The establishments also will offer their regular menus.

The restaurants include fine-dining establishments such as The Ritz Prime Seafood, Five Crowns and Andrea at Pelican Hill, along with neighborhood favorites like Rusty Pelican and Woody’s Wharf.

Ryan Sumner, executive chef of the newly opened Lighthouse Cafe at Marina Park, said the showcase gives his restaurant a chance to gain interest from the community.

Lighthouse’s $40 dinner menu for Restaurant Week offers three courses, including garlic tomato soup, grilled swordfish and cinnamon sugar beignets.

Red O at Fashion Island will offer a $50 menu with courses including filet mignon, tamales and flan.

Other Fashion Island options will include lunch at Mariposa at Neiman Marcus (fettuccine pasta and pineapple upside-down cake) and Cucina Enoteca (chopped salad and any pizza or polenta board).

No tickets, passes or coupons are required for Restaurant Week, according to Dine Newport Beach, the marketing arm of the Newport Beach Restaurant Assn.
