Among those in the half-marathon was Adam Gorlitsky, 30, of South Carolina, who at age 19 had been told he would never walk again after being paralyzed from the waist down in a car accident. But using a robotic exoskeleton, he completed five miles in Sunday’s event, according to a news release.
