Costa Mesa police are looking for an SUV involved in a hit-and-run crash that left a pedestrian hospitalized early Sunday.

A 26-year-old Lake Forest man was crossing the street outside a crosswalk at Newport Boulevard and Broadway when a small blue SUV hit him at 4:53 a.m., according to police.

The vehicle, possibly an Isuzu Amigo, kept driving south on Newport Boulevard without stopping, according to authorities.
