Share

Crews will begin digging trenches Monday that eventually will house conduits with electrical wiring as part of a utility undergrounding project along the 700 block of Summit Drive in Laguna Beach, according to a news release.

The road will be reduced to one lane between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays during construction, which is expected to last until December, the release said. Overhead poles and wires should be removed by December 2017.

Street resurfacing also will continue near the Arch Beach Heights neighborhood, the release said.
