Costa Mesa circuit board maker buys N.Y. firm

TTM Technologies, a Costa Mesa-based circuit board manufacturer, is buying Anaren Inc. for $775 million, according to a news release.

New York-based Anaren makes radio frequency components and subsystems for the aerospace, defense, networking and communications markets.

The sale is subject to regulatory approvals.

Costa Mesa-based Mother’s Market expands to Signal Hill

Mother’s Market and Kitchen, a Costa Mesa-based natural and organic foods retailer, has opened a new store in Signal Hill.

The 13,000-square-foot store will employ 100 workers. A grand opening is planned for Feb. 17.

Learning Center opens in Newport Beach

Mathnasium has opened a new franchise learning center at 2610 E. Coast Hwy. in Newport Beach.

The center serves children in grades 2-12.

Newport Beach firm buys Las Vegas buildings

Newport Beach-based BKM Capital Partners has acquired a cluster of industrial buildings in Las Vegas near McCarran International Airport, according to a news report.

The sale for 13 buildings and a 4-acre parking lot was $92 million — the biggest in terms of size and price in the company’s history, according to a director who spoke with the Las Vegas Review Journal. BKM plans to make various upgrades to the buildings.

Pasadena firm acquires Newport-based Bridgenet

Bridgenet International, a Newport Beach-based airplane noise and airspace issues consultant, has been acquired by Tetra Tech.

Tetra Tech, a Pasadena-based construction and engineering management firm, did not disclose terms of the transaction.
