Lobsterfest, Newport Beach’s annual feast of fresh Maine lobster flown in the morning of the event, was back on the beach at Newport Dunes Waterfront Resort for its 10th year Sunday.

The party was sold out with 650 guests who paid $75 to $150 for the meal, which included whole lobsters prepared onsite, grilled New York strip steak, salad, red potatoes, corn on the cob, rolls and butter, dessert and a no-host bar, plus live entertainment by the West Coast Party Crashers.

For the record:

2:20 p.m. Aug. 6, 2018This article originally stated that admission included one whole lobster and that additional lobsters cost extra. That was true for general admission, but the VIP price included all-you-can-eat lobster.

A portion of the proceeds will go to Leadership Tomorrow and Make-A-Wish Orange County and the Inland Empire.
